Description
Photograph of a funeral procession at the Pueblo of Isleta, New Mexico, ca.1898. A group of about thirty people walking in the procession are led by a priest (who appears to be Father Anton Docher) and a man carrying a tall cross. They can be seen heading towards the right, while they carry the deceased on a raised pallet. A few buildings of the pueblo are visible behind the group.
