Description
This circa 1920 postcard shows a lush wooded portion of the Sacramento River. Typical Sacramento River vegetation includes tule reeds, willows, rushes, cottonwoods, poplars, sycamores, valley oaks, buckeyes, laurels, and alders. Additional common river flora are clover, wild oats, and other native grasses.
