Description
Photographic portrait of golf tournament player George Kerrigan, ca.1920. Kerrigan is standing on a grassy lawn, in a swing position, while holding a golf club over his shoulder. He is wearing light-colored plus fours and a tucked-in buttoned shirt with a tie. His hair is neatly combed to one side and to the back. A wall (fence?) covered with vegetation fills in the background. The back of the photograph reads: "George Kerrigan, Flintridge Country Club pro, and entered in the $10,000 Los Angeles open."
