Photograph of a view of Sunset Boulevard (now Commerce Avenue) going north towards the San Gabriel Mountains, 1929. A few automobiles can be seen on a road running from slightly left of center in the foreground to the background. Shops, trees, and utility poles can be seen throughout, as well as a few bare plots of land at center. Tujunga Boulevard runs perpendicular to Sunset Boulevard towards the foreground at right. Mountains are visible in the background. Legible signs from left to right include, "Drugs", "Tujunga Valley Bank", and "Patten & Davies Lumber Company".
