Description
Reporter, John Gibson, shows a behind the scenes look at a day in the life of a fire fighter, produced for local television. He trains with Fire Captain Ed Wagner of the California Division of Forestry Fire Station in Auburn, California. This training includes conducting a controlled burn near Beale Air Force Base, a moderate workout, and finally, fighting a brush fire. DWR had an in-house film department that regularly produced film segments for many state agencies, Forestry being one of them.
