Description: St. Francis Dam in San Francisquito Canyon near Saugus was completed in 1926 and failed in 1928. It was part of the Owens Valley Aqueduct System. This post-failure photograph shows a view the nearby hillside with a road winding around it. The road has been closed and covered by land slippage from the water runoff.
