Description: Shown is an 1875 certificate of appreciation created by Sacramento's Red Cloud Tribe No. 41 of the Improved Order of Red Men. The group was founded just four years earlier in 1871 and was located at the Red Men's Hall on Tenth Street between J and I streets.
