Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the First Universalist Church and Public Library, Pasadena, ca.1890. The two-story church has a square tower with pyramidal roof on each of two opposing corners constructed in different scales. A central cylindrical tower with a dome roof is placed over the main entry which is approached by a short flight of steps from the sidewalk in front. Arched stained glass windows punctuate both adjacent street-facing sides of the building. Two other buildings (the public library and a house) are visible on either side of the church (right & left). A traffic signal hangs over the center of the street intersection in the foreground partially obscuring the church's roof.
