Description
Shana Alexander discusses her autobiography, “Happy Days.” She begins by explaining that she is the daughter of famous composer Milton Ager, and her mother was a screenwriter for MGM Studios. She talks about her early life and how her parents would move their family to different hotels every year. She describes her career as a journalist for Life Magazine, her first celebrity interview, and the time she spent working for the television program 60 Minutes. Alexander discusses famous people she knew growing up such as William Morris, and George and Ira Gershwin. She ends the interview by talking about her husbands, past relationships, and other books she has written.
