Description
Photograph of electrical workmen erecting a power pole, ca.1950. To the left of center, two men wearing denim jeans and hardhats hold onto a rope that extends into the sky and attaches to the top of a power pole. The power pole seems to be connected to the back of a truck on the right. The T-shaped pole reads, "High Voltage" on its top plank. To the right, a man can be seen in the drivers seat of the truck while another man walks behind the truck to the left of center. A second truck is visible on the dirt road in the background while trees and mountains can be seen underneath a cloudy sky. Photoprint reads: "Reliable electric service is provided communities by Southern California Edison Company through the use of expert personnel and modern equipment. Above, a heavy service crew erects a power pole."
