Photograph of a view of a tunnel on the Colorado River Aqueduct, October 16, 1942. The tunnel can be seen in the distance at center in the base of a rocky mountain. The aqueduct curves from the foreground at right to the mouth of the tunnel. Its walls are made of cementer and it is approximately half full. A chain link fence topped with rows of barbed wire runs along both sides of the aqueduct.
