Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph article dated March 15, 1955 reads, "While KCOP TV viewers witnessed the first rendition of a Parky theme song contest entry recently, Parky, who was making a guest appearance, was apparently distracted by a pile of papers near a piano in full view of the TV camera, as the above, on-the-spot photo discloses. So while veteran vaudeville performer J. L. 'Singing Jimmie Smith' delivered his composition on his 'Conglomerama' TV show, an obviously perplexed Parky attempted to poke the one-stage litter out of sight of the audience. Anyone may enter the contest by sending entries to Room 305, Los Angeles City Hall." Photograph caption reads, "'Singing' Jimmie Smith enters contest - While Nonplused Parky Polices Up Around Stage."
