Description
2017-0684. Bust-length portrait. Born in Mobile, AL in 1827, came to California in 1846. Fought in the Mexican War. Employed by Pacific Mail and North American Navigation Company as captain of one of their steamers; served as agent for the Companies in Panama. Died in 1894.
