Photograph caption dated October 20, 1977 reads, "Leslie Van Houten arrives in court for the setting of a new trial date. Van Houten has been tried twice for the 1969 murders of Leno and Rosemary La Bianca [sic], while she was a follower of Charles Manson. A Jan. 16 trial date was set." Van Houten was retried on charges of murdering Rosemary and Leno La Bianca in 1969 due to the disappearance of her attorney during her trial.
