Description
"Tanz der Beschnittenen und der Fellschläger" ("The dance of circumcised people and the fur slugger"). Five people are wearing conspicuous dresses. They are wearing masks (maybe out of straw). The surrounding area is marked by hills, shrubs and huts.
An initiation costume like those in the photograph is part of the collection of the "Völkerkundemuseum Herrnhut".
