Photograph caption dated January 14, 1956 reads, "The seventh annual father-son banquet of John Sutter Junior High School was held Thursday as the athletes were honored for their exploits. In the top photo, from left, are: Rear--Danny Mulvey, Terry Wilson, Howard Bell, director of youth services for the Los Angeles Board of Education; Henry Fladwed, Bill Chappell and Paul Herman; front--Wayne Briggs and Steve Heckathorn. The boys are captains and co-captains holding team and sweepstakes trophies. Below [pictured], Bill O'Mara (right) shakes hands with Don Clark, USC football line coach, while Chuck Kistner looks on."
