Title supplied by cataloger. The bridge/tunnel was built as part of the Cahuenga Freeway; it is now known as the Lankershim/101 Freeway Bridge and Tunnel. Photograph dated September 6, 1948 shows the finished underpass at Lankershim Boulevard just before opening it up to traffic. The underpass is part of the $2,000,000 continuation of the Hollywood Freeway from the Cahuenga Pass into the Valley.
