The Streamline Moderne style Hollywood Park, built in 1937, was located at 1050 South Prairie Avenue in Inglewood. It was designed by architect Stiles O. Clements and landscape architect Edward Huntsman-Trout. Later additions to the park were designed by Fred Barlow, Jr. In 2012, the property was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park. The park closed in May, 2013 and development of a football stadium complex began in October, 2016. Photograph caption dated October 7, 1964 reads "Staff photographer Gordon Dean catches unique shot of startof [sic] race as Western Harness Racing Association opened its 36-day meeting Tusday [sic] at Hollywood Park." The racetrack is in Inglewood.
