Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission San Miguel showing railroad tracks in front, ca.1900. The long, two-story adobe building of the mission stands at center, some of its spackle chipping away to reveal the brick. To the left, scaffolding can be seen leaning against the building behind the one-story colonnade that extends from its side whose roof structure is partiall wood planking and part terracotta tile. In the foreground, railroad tracks run the width of the image. In the right background, smaller adobes can be seen. A horse is also visible in the extreme left of the image, behind the railroad tracks.
