Description
Here is the Crescent Creamery Company located at 334 East 5th Street. It was demolished in 1927 to make way for the Sears and Roebuck department store at 5th and American Avenue (later,Long Beach Blvd). The signs on the building announce "Crescent Creamery Co.; Milk; Cream; Butter; Ice Cream." Additional separate signs advertise, "Ice Cream", "Milk" and the "Crescent Creamery Company" within a crescent moon logo. A truck (numbered 287-A) and driver are parked in front. The side of the truck also shows the crescent logo and indicates "Crescent Milk; Extra Rich Quaility." ORIG. IMAGE: 8.5" X 11", B&W glossy print. NEGATIVE: Yes.
