A definition of the cultural and economic patterns in rural and urban Mexican American communities in the Southwest as given by Dr. Ernesto Galarza, with still photographs and newsreel footage of existing social conditions. Includes a discussion of the rise of militancy by representatives from several Mexican American organizations.
