Description
Photograph of a flowering plant on a glass table, ca.1920. The plant is in a small terracotta pot on a glass table at center. It has a single large flower and four or five long thin leaves. There is a semicircular card in front of it that reads "Phyllocactus Hermosa Goliah". The images of the pot and the card are reflected in the table top. Picture file card identifies the photographer's location as Thirty-sixth Street and Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles.
