Dr. Ezequiel Padilla (seated, third from left) and other Mexican officials have gathered for a parade, either before or after a special Cinco de Mayo ceremony was held in Padilla's honor at the Los Angeles City Hall. The building seen in the background is located at 3800 E. Brooklyn Avenue (later renamed Ce´sar Cha´vez Avenue), just east of N. Gage Avenue in the Los Angeles County community of City Terrace.
