Description
A. J. "Dutch" Velthoen invertiews Jule Vargas of Security Bank who talks about progress and mergers over the years; The bank handled citrus accounts in the early years. Video includes early pictures of the bank and those involved with it - Al Root, Fred Snedecor, etc. Mr. Velthoen then interviews Clark Higgins about Corona Clipper. They discuss the growth of the company founded by Joe Copely, Sr. At the time, corona was the lemon capital of the world and Mr. Copely made a clipper used to cut the fruit just above the "button" which made the fruit easier to pack and store.
