Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
The Pacific Mutual Building was originally designed and built between 1908-1912 by John Parkinson and Edwin Bergstrom, then re-designed by William L. Dodd and his associate William Richards in 1922. In 1974, the building underwent an extensive restoration by Wendell Mounce and Associates, with Bond and Steward.
Pershing Square is at forefront, and behind is the Pacific Mutual Life Building with a large clock that reads 8:37, and a motto bearing the words: "Time to Insure". A few people can be seen sitting on benches along the perimeter of the park.
