Description
Raising turkeys in Northern California was a profitable venture during the first decade of the 20th Century. Butte, Placer, Sacramento and Yolo Counties claimed nearly 400,000 of the birds during that time with a total valuation of over 2,000,000 dollars. According to the description on the back of the postcard, "The climate of Sacramento County is the best for the raising of poultry."
