Description
Tom Hayden, antiwar and civil rights activist. Caption: Thomas Hayden, 28-year-old organizer of demonstrations at the Democratic National Convention, sits at the witness table today during a hearing held by the HUAC. Rep. Albert Watson...threatened to have Hayden arrested forusing an obscene word during his testimony. Hayden later served in the California Assembly (1982-92) and Senate (1992-2000). He is a college teacher, author, and director of the Peace and Justice Resource Center in Culver City CA.
