Redwood tree snapped off in high wind of Dec. 1930 on Redwood Highway just south of Stafford (Percy Brown's flat). Tree about 8 ft. diameter at breast height. Diameter at break 4 ft.+. Fire scar extends from ground about 100 feet up. Broken at 90 ft. above ground. Much rot inside at break. E.F. July 20, 1932
