Description
Street scene at 1010 F Street. House was originally built in 1864 by Isaac Miller Hubbard, a telegraph builder and first Wells Fargo agent in Sacramento. Hubbard built the first telegraph across the continent with his father and the first railroad bridge across the American River. He was an early Chief Engineer of the Sacramento Fire Department and during flooding in the city, was in charge of pumping out the city. By 1952, the house had become the Elms Apartments.
