Photograph caption dated December 5, 1959 reads, "End Jim Johnson of Reseda (88) has just broken through Franklin line in above photo to block punt attempt by quarterback Joe D'Amico (42) on Panther's four-yard line. Ball bounced into and out of end zone, giving Regents a safety and final two points of 15-0 win in opening round of all-city football championship competition. Reseda now advances to semi-finals next Saturday against winner of today's Banning-Fremont game."
