Description: Image of a minstrel show featuring five large groups of black entertainers in uniforms holding batons or maces.
Date supplied by cataloger based on performer history; Primrose and West in formed their own troupe apart from Haverly's in 1877, and ceased blackface material entirely in 1882. "The Strobridge Lith. Co. Cin. & N.Y."--text, bottom center of image. "Originated & directed by Wm. H. West."--text, bottom right of image. "A novelty of magnificent splendor bewildering evolutions and dazzling electric effects."--text, bottom center of image.
