Description
Child sits in driver seat of antique steam pumper, used in early part of twentieth century. Firefighter stands nearby, explaining how the old fire engine worked. First drawn by horse, and later by tractor, the steam pumper pressurized water, allowing firefighters to spray greater volumes of water over greater distances.
