Description
The Tuesday Club, part of the California Federation of Women's Clubs, was founded as the Tuesday Literary Club by Findley R. Dray in 1896. It began as a women's study club to discuss educational, current, and general interest topics in the homes of its members each month. It later evolved into a sizable philanthropic and social club.
