Description
This circa 200 postcard provides two renderings of the Esquire Theater, located at 1211 K Street: One, with its early-1940s origins, and two, after its rehabilitation in 2000. The new theater, opening in 1999, offered an IMAX screen reaching six stories high and stretching some 80 feet wide. The new Esquire also added a restaurant, the Esquire Grill, which was opened in June 1999 by longtime Sacramento restaurateur Randy Paragary.
