Fountain topped with female figure representing California, various figures representative of California's industries, such as gold miners, Pomona bearing basket of fruit, cherubs pulling on wine press, sea lions, etc. seen below her. Mechanical Arts Building and Taber's visible in background. Fountain built from designs of Ruper Schmid and Marion Wells. Black paper mask, cover glass and taped edges.
