Photograph of the Chapultepec Castle, Mexico City, Mexico, ca.1905-1910. The castle is on a high hill. In the middle, the arcades of Santa Fe Aqueduct can be seen running along the north side of the hill. At the time the photograph was taken, the aqueduct was still functioning with the Water Leap Fountain at its lower end. The fountain was located at former Niño Perdido Street. A shepherd tends his flock in the pasture in front of the aqueduct.
