Between 1954 and 1990, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul leased several different grounds for its boys summer camp program. St. Vincent de Paul Ranch Camp was located in the Santa Susana Mountains in Granada Hills until it was destroyed by fire. In 1990, the Society purchased Circle V Camp near Santa Barbara for co-ed summer camps. Photograph caption dated July 19, 1958 reads, "Boys return to ranch after morning hike in hills. Camp accommodates 100 boys with 60 acres of hills and fields in ranch area. Season will close August 21."
