Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated November 4, 1953 reads, "Holiday for strings - Waiting for their master's touch, the many strings of Dick Roberts surround him as he takes off on one of his own compositions on his banjo. The double-keyboard vibra-harp shown in the front of the picture was designed and made by Roberts in four months."
