Description
This is probably a generic label for peaches in a 1 pound 11 ounce can. The canning company could order generic labels and then have their brand name and company information printed on the label. This label features a view of a lake and mountains surrounded by peach blossoms. In 1913 Victor Greco organized the Greco Canning Company and opened a cannery at Howard and Autumn Streets in San Jose, California. During World War I Greco was the largest packer of tomatoes in the world. The Greco Canning Company ceased operations in 1938.
