Description: Photograph (retouched) of the Langham Apartments, a 3-wing 7-story stone and brick building. "Received Examiner reference library: Dec. 21, 1936." -- stamped on verso.
Streetscape. Horizontal photography. The building was designed and built by Callahan & Sons
it was opened in late 1927. It is still around (July 2014) on the SW corner of West 7th Street and South Normandie Avenue. It was said in 1927 that its foyer was a replica of that of Davanzati Palace in Florence, Italy.
