Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated May 27, 1955 reads, "Here's Bill Wallis of Burbank, who landed this 22-inch, 5 3/4-pound trout with a 14-inch girth, first of the big ones taken out of Cachuma Lake. He will have it mounted and kept at Cachuma Boat Rentals until a bigger fish replaces. Wallis, of Burbank Sporting Goods, landed the fish using a No. 14 hook, single light egg and 2-pound test leader."
