Description
Pictured is William Culveaux, 19 was charged with the murder of Miguel Barron in an asserted feud over two girls, Rose Padilla and Cecilia Aparacio. Charges against Culveaux were dimissed by Judge Byron J. Walters who stated in court, "While it is true tha we are faced in Los Angeles with juvenile gangster terrorism, it is equally true under evidence submitted to this court that this defendant acted in self defense." Photograph dated July 22, 1942.
