Photograph caption dated July 23, 1989 reads, "Airport and FAA officials inspect scene of plane crash yesterday morning near Van Nuys Airport. A 24-year old woman and 2-year old suffered minor injuries in the crash; two men ages 45 and 59 had moderate injuries. The single-engine Piper Cub lost power and landed on the roof of a metal shed shortly after taking off from the airport." The damaged plane is shown here on the ground after it fell onto the ground.
