Description
Connie and Rob begin the interview discussing the importance of losing fat in weight loss, instead of shedding excess pounds from parts of the body that are essential. They move on to talk about the common disorders and diseases that accompany obesity in individuals before considering plastic surgery and the benefits of planning and dieting. Connie closes the interview with Rob requesting an autograph for her copy of the book. Connie and Nina begin their interview discussing the background of the book and the overall plot centering on Hollywood, and the importance of Japanese racial identity in an anti-Japanese American context. They proceed to discuss how Nina developed the storyline for her novel, and Connie closes the interview with Nina requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
