Photograph of a general view of Los Angeles Harbor from a water tower, October 20, 1928. The curved edge of the water tower is visible in the foreground as the image looks down over the harbor. The long rectangular roof of a warehouse type building can be seen immediately after the outline of the water tower while sign that reads "City of Los Angeles- Berth 232D" is visible on the roof to the right of center. A large ship with an "L" painted on the engine can be seen docked while another ship painted with the words "Dimon Line" floats at the dock on the other side. More boats can be seen on the water in the background while land is visible in the distance.
