Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a residence at Van Nuys corner on the corner of Spring Street, Seventh Street and Broadway (?) in Los Angeles, 1900. The covered front porch of a two-story Victorian house is at right. Carved wood panels near the roof give an arched appearance to the openings on the porch. A long wooden picket fence is visible in the foreground, with an opening at left to allow access to a walkway leading to the front door. An addition is being made to the house at left, and the frame of a new room is visible with a ladder leaning against it.
