Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated November 13, 1962 partially reads, "I do not know what kind of a football team the University of Puerto Rico has, but it's a cinch the college has one thing to cheer about--and that is Señorita Miriam Colon. It seems that about four years ago the university's drama department became so impressed with her acting ability that they created a special scholarship for Miriam, paid her expenses to this country and said in effect, 'So go be a star.'...I chatted with Miss Colon in the shadow of the Long Branch saloon on the Gunsmoke set at Paramount Hollywood Studios the other day. She was playing the role of Shona, an Indian girl, for whom this particular episode was named."
