Main image on the poster is of an opened trunk placed next to two carrying bags and a closed case. Probable date based on advertisements in the Fayetteville Weekly Observer. From 1859 - early 1860 O. S Baldwin's shop was located on Hay Street. As of May 1860 they moved to 38 Market Street.

Back of poster has three messages written in ink. One reads, "J. M. L. A." and the other two messages are illegible.

Traveling reticules, for ladies. Packing trunks for families. Trunks, for girls and boys at the Clothing and Furnishing House, 21 Hay Street, Fayetteville, N.C.” –text, bottom half of print.
