Photograph caption dated October 4, 1962 reads "Cathy Harrington, 18-year-old Miss Woodland Hills, center, leads Yolanta Hessel, 17, left, and Ruth Larkin, 17, candidates in the contest to select Cathy's successor, in giving their best smiles to Valley Times TODAY photographer George Brich. Yolanta and Ruth are the first entrants in the contest being sponsored by the Woodland Hills Junior Chamber of Commerce to select a community hostess. Entrants must be between the ages of 17 and 27. Contest information may be obtained by phoning Art Akers at Diamond 7-8213."
