Autograph letter, signed, describing French naval operations. The letter is dated at the top of the first page, with Destouche's name in teh lower left-hand corner. A postscript in a different hand follows the letter, and is written on pages two and three. The fourth page is blank. An ink spot is seen along the fold on all four pages.
